Dog Boarding Services in Dallas/Ft. Worth Area
Canine Country Inn is a family owned and operated dog boarding facility located on 7 acres in rural Argyle, Texas. We are 15 minutes from Denton, Flower Mound or Lewisville, and 35 minutes from DFW Airport. In business since 1990, we have shown our boarders excellent care while providing reasonable rates, reduced monthly rates, and 24 hour on-call veterinary care. Our son Bob, resides on the premises and is our kennel manager, insuring constant supervision and care.
The owner has 15 years experience as a veterinary assistant and 30 years experience in breeding and showing dogs. This facility features 80 large (75 sq. ft.) indoor/outdoor runs in three separate heated and air-conditioned kennel buildings. These large runs will accommodate boarding your multiple dogs together (two giant breed or three medium size). Play and exercise time in a grassed area is provided daily for each dog, weather permitting.
NOTICE of RATE INCREASE
After significant deliberation, we have decided it is time to institute a rate increase. When considering this rate increase, we looked into cost of living increases, as well as operational expenses. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the care we provide for your pets. In 2025, we completely gutted all three of the buildings of their insulation and upgraded to 1" of hard cell and 5.5" of soft cell blown insulation. This has proven to be much more efficient in the seasonal regulation of the temperature in the buildings. However, instead of realizing this in energy cost savings, we have chosen to allow your pet to benefit by us being able to leave their doors open to outside access longer during the summer and winter months. In 2026, we have more plans for facility improvements slated to to enhance our customers' experience.
With that said, effective May 1st 2026, our new rates will go into effect and they are listed below:
One Dog in a Kennel $30
Each additional dog in the same kennel $20
As in previous years, this rate will continue to be "all-inclusive". There will never
be a menu of add`on charges for services such as food, play yard time, or
administration of medications. We will continue to charge a flat rate per dog versus charging by the various sizes of our kennels. We want to reassure you that we will never increase our rates during peak seasons and holidays. Your dogs will be taken care of by members of our immediate and extended family as we are truly family owned and operated. Three generations strong! Discounted rates for "long-term" and military will remain the same.
